What is Christian Science?
If you are interested in learning more about Christian Science, you can attend any of the services at Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Johannesburg, listed on this page at which all visitors are welcome. Ushers are on hand after our services to answer any questions you may have.

The Reading Room is available to visit on Friday mornings from 08:30am to 10:30am and Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Enquiries regarding purchases, borrowing literature and accessing online resources can be directed to librarian@thirdchurch.co.za.
The Third Church Reading Room is located on our church premises in Parkview, Johannesburg and provides a quiet place to study and pray, and to borrow or buy Christian Science literature.

Our Sunday morning blended service (online via Zoom and in person) and Sunday School are offered at 10:00am.
You are warmly invited to attend Sunday services where you will hear music, singing, scriptural readings, prayer and a sermon. The sermon is based on a weekly Bible lesson from our Pastor: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
Testimony meetings (in person and online via Zoom) are held on Wednesdays at Third Church in the auditorium from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Wednesday meetings are similar to the Sunday services, but the scriptural selections are customised to the needs of the congregation and occasion. You will also hear testimonies of healing, insights and experiences that fellow attendees have had as a result of prayer and study of Christian Science.
